Hey what’s going on everyone? Today I want to talk about a new product from PowerAdd: the 40W QC 3.0 & Type-C USB Adapter.
If you’re like me you probably have a ton of devices that need charging. And one of the things that’s super frustrating to me is that I never seem to have enough outlets in one place for all the devices I want to charge. If we’re talking about my desk, at the very least I have my phone, a tablet and my wireless mouse, and I usually keep a power bank fully charged so that I have it ready.
Before using this charging station I would always have to unplug one device in order to plug in another or use one of the USB ports on my computer which obviously don’t charge as well. This is where the PowerAdd QC 3.0 and Type C wall charger is a huge help.
Ok, so let’s take it out of the box. We have the adapter, the power cable, a user’s manual and a stand. I like the finish on it and I think it looks nice on my desk. You can see that you can have this device set up the a vertical or horizontal position. The concept is fairly straightforward and using this adapter I now only need one wall outlet to charge multiple devices.
But this charging station offers more than just the ability to simultaneously charge multiple devices. If you look on the front, you will see that there are 5 ports:
On the side you will see a blue LED indicator light which lets you know that the adapter is plugged in and is ready to be used. This PowerADD adapter uses a built-in SI Smart Charging Chip which can identify the optimal current needed by each device and can therefore maximize charging speed.
Not sure if you remember this stand from the beginning, but if you choose to use it, the larger compartment holds the charger in place and then you can use these spaces for the devices you’re charging. I also want to mention that I really like this device for when I travel. When I stay in hotels I find that I never have enough outlets for all the equipment I bring. And even if there are, I now need to bring multiple chargers and plug them all over the place rather than having a single charging location.
Now I just bring this small adapter and I can charge my phone, airpods, wireless mics various other accessories in one spot. So not only does it keep me organized, there is also less that I need to pack. If you’re looking to charge multiple devices at once, if you have QC 1,2 or 3 compatible devices and USB Type C devices, check out this 40W PowerADD Adapter.
It sells on Amazon for under $23 and I’ll put in a link in the description that you can use if you’re looking to support the channel. Please give this video a thumbs up and hit that subscribe button.
